Banned Books Week is here and libraries are proud to celebrate the freedom to read.  Over the years, many well known titles, including popular classics like Of Mice and Men and  Are You There God? It's Me Margaret have been questioned on its appropriateness as reading material for various ages. As recently as 2014, several of John Green's books, including The Fault in Our Stars, have been challenged at a school or public library in the country.

Many of the books banned have become popular movies and TV series, including Margaret Atwood's The Handmaid's Tale.
