The purpose of this project was to preserve oral history interviews completed by the Cape Fear Museum during the 1970s-2000s. Most of the interviews were done as a part of one exhibit or another- the titles of which are in the tabs at the top of the page. They include: Down Tobacco Road, What's Cookin' In the Cape Fear, First Presbyterian Church 175th Anniversary, and Duck Hunting and Decoys. The interviews which did not fall into those categories can be found under the Cape Fear Museum Oral Histories tab. For basic metadata information, open the expand the video using the full YouTube link and look in the description area. These oral histories can also be found with their complete metadata sets at the following link: BiblioBoard New Hanover County, which require the user to be in New Hanover County, or a New Hanover County Public Library cardholder. If you have any questions about the collection, please reach out to Christine Ingram, Local Interest Librarian at cingram@nhcgov.com. Enjoy!
