Homeschooling just got easier!

Whether you are supporting virtual instruction from your child's school or registering your own home school, the library has a wide variety of books and online resources to help. Resources are available free of charge to all NHC Public Library card holders. Books, websites, home school philosophies quizzes, and even a free course to help you get get started are below. 

Click the Elementary, Middle, or High School Resource Center box on the right to access library resources for students including eBooks, videos, encyclopedias, magazines and FREE ONLINE TUTORING from Tutor.com. Go to the eResource Request page to have a librarian recommend the best eResources and databases to support your curriculum.

 Course for Parents: Homeschool with Success: Discover how to homeschool your children in a way that ensures they get what they need both academically and socially by enrolling in this free course. Gale Courses offers a wide range of highly interactive, instructor led courses that you can take entirely online. As a library card holder in good standing, you are entitled to these courses at no cost. Courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month.
